River is our first Miniature American Shepherd and I got her as a hiking partner. River is such a wonderful dog and started our love of the breed. This 15 ½ inches red merle girl is very high energy and high drive; she needs a job to be happy. River loves to go kayaking with us, enjoys a lot of performance events, and excels at agility in both AKC and UKC, she has even competed in NADAC agility. Her favorite thing in the world is me and her tennis ball, she will do anything in order to get me to throw that ball!!

2021 - River earned her MACH (AKC's Master Agility Champion) in August, her UACH (UKC Agility Champion) in October and several other agility titles.

2022 - River qualified for AKC's National Agility Championship and competed in the AKC Agility Nationals in Ocala Florida in April.

2023 - River qualified for AKC's National Agility Championship and competed in the AKC Agility Nationals in Tulsa Oklahoma in March. She was recognized at the MASCUSA Nationals for being in the Top 10 PACH dogs and got to show in the MASCUSA Agility Showcase in November. 

2024 - River qualified for AKC's National Agility Championship being held in March in Perry GA and earned her PACH (AKC's Preferred Agility Champion) in January 2024. After her PACH she is going to semi-retire from Agility and look for other sports to have fun competing in.
